Qualys Policy Compliance/Policy Audit for ServiceNow
Welcome to Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform! We will show you how to use the Qualys Policy Compliance/Policy Audit applications.
The Qualys Policy Compliance/Policy Audit application manages the connection between ServiceNow and Qualys Core. Once the connection is set up, you can define import configurations, establish import schedules, create incidents, and set up related event detection rules and service-level agreement (SLA) definitions within the Qualys Core application.
Qualys Policy Compliance/Policy Audit
The Qualys Policy Compliance/Policy Audit application tracks postures and connects remediation tickets to their respective resolver groups. It serves as a bridge between Security and IT teams, minimizing manual intervention by establishing automated workflows.
Key Features
Here are the key features of Qualys PC/PA for ServiceNow:
-
Automated data import from Policy Compliance/Policy Audit, using predefined criteria. This can be done on demand or through a scheduled process.
-
Automated ticket creation, which includes identifying or matching Configuration Items (CIs) with the ServiceNow CMDB. Tickets are assigned to the appropriate owners and can be closed upon remediation.
-
Posture groups are created based on various parameters, including Posture Status, Criticality, Host, ID, Priority, and Policy. This approach helps reduce the number of incidents that IT teams need to track and resolve.
-
Custom Service Level Agreements (SLAs) can be defined for specific postures based on Qualys real-time threat indicators (RTIs).
