Qualys VMDR

Qualys VMDR application manages the tracking of open vulnerabilities and mapping of remediation tickets to the respective resolver groups.

Configuration Steps

Perform the following steps to configure the Qualys VMDR application:

1. Hosts/Assets: View details of assets and match or create CI records.
2. VMDR incident Groups: View details of vulnerability incident groups created.
3. VMDR incidents: View details of all vulnerability incidents created.
4. Launch a VM Scan: Launch a VM scan from the Qualys VMDR application.
5. Exceptions: View details of initiating exception request and approval workflow.
6. False Positive: View details of initiating false positive requests and approval workflow.
7. Scan Executions: List of scan executions that are initiated from this application.
8. Detections: List of all vulnerability detections categorized based on status.
9. Qualys Patch Management Workflow - View change request management process.
10. Reports and Dashboards: View different reports and dashboards.
11. KnowledgeBase: View Qualys knowledgebase.
