Generating Patches Report
You can generate and download detailed patch data or reports for Windows, Linux, and Mac. Note that you must have a trial or full Patch Management license to generate and download this data.
You can also view the list of reports generated and their statuses. After you download the patch data or report, you can import it to a preferred analytic tool, such as Tableau.
For example, you can analyze the data and calculate the compliance ratio to make sound decisions or use the patch data to identify missed patches based on the severity of the critical assets.
You can now overlay the Patch data with other business data to set a new context for analysis. Downloading allows you to integrate data from different systems and view it on a single pane of glass.
Important to Know
- You can access only ten latest reports per user at a given time.
- The generated report files are retained for seven days. After that, the report data is deleted.
- You can download the reports in the CSV format in a zip file. The CSV file contains the data visible on the UI plus data for a few more columns that are not visible on the UI.
- The report file size is limited to 1 GB after the data is compressed.
- Any references to data or time in the report should be considered in the UTC timestamps.
- The real-time data available on the screen is downloaded in the report. For example, if you have applied filters or search functionality to select the data you want to download or entered the QQL tokens, the real-time data is shown as its result and downloaded.
If you applied filters and downloaded the data, you can't use the same filters and download the data again.

- Click the Report List link from the screen capture to see the report's status. Alternatively, click View Report Status to see the status of the report.
- Click the Download icon from the Actions column on the "Report Download Request Status" page. Note that the Download icon is enabled only when the report status is "Ready".
