Manage Burp Findings

The Burp Suite integration with WAS provides a way to store the findings discovered by the Burp Suite scanner with the findings discovered by WAS and share this information with multiple users. We support import of the Burp version 1.7.24. To learn more about Burp Suite integration and further integration plans refer to this blog article at the Qualys Community.

Burp Management is not available to Express Lite  users.

Qualys recommends you to try Qualys WAS Burp extension to easily import Burp-discovered issues into WAS. The Qualys WAS Burp extension is available at the BApp Store, located under the Extender tab within Burp Suite Professional. To learn more about Qualys WAS Burp extension refer to this blog article at the Qualys community. 

The Burp tab under Integration displays the burp reports that are imported. You can also import the burp reports in this tab. 

From the Burp tab, you can:

A) Import Burp report. For details, Burp Report Import Settings.

B) Enter QQL (Qualys Query Language) queries in the search box to search for burp reports. See the Search Tokens for Burp Reports.

C) Use the Quick Actions menu to perform the following actions on the selected burp report:

Download Burp Report

Tag Burp Reports

Delete Burp Reports

D) Use the Actions menu to take the following actions on multiple burp reports:

Tag Burp Reports

Delete Burp Reports

E) Use the Search Actions menu to view the recent searches, save search queries added in the search box and manage saved searches.

Burp Permissions

User roles and permissions determine whether users have WAS burp permissions. There are separate permissions for accessing, importing, updating, downloading, and deleting burp reports, and also for ignoring the burp findings. For details, check Burp Permissions.
