Identity Assets

An Identity is an asset that defines an entity with permissions and access rights across systems, applications, and cloud platforms. These identities are critical because they control authentication, authorization, and access.

The Identity tab provides all identity-related assets discovered in your environment, such as users, groups, and roles. It helps you understand who has access, how identities are classified, and their associated risk and security posture across the organization.

Identity Types

• User: Individual users.
• Group: Collections of users.
• Role: Permission sets that define what actions are allowed as per the roles.
