Qualys FIM for ITSM

Welcome to Qualys Enterprise TruRisk™ Platform! We’ll show you how to use the Qualys Core and Qualys File Integrity Monitoring applications.

Qualys FIM for the ServiceNow application comprises an application that manages the connection between ServiceNow and Qualys - Qualys Core. Once the connection is configured, you can define import configurations, import schedules, incidents, and related event detection rules, and service-level agreement (SLA) definitions in the Qualys Core application.

Qualys File Integrity Monitoring

Qualys File Integrity Monitoring (FIM), built on our Cloud Agent technology, records and tracks file changes across your IT assets from a central location.

The following are the highlights of the Qualys FIM:

  • Monitor file integrity violations in real time across your entire IT environment with Qualys FIM.
  • Continuously track compliance status from a centralized dashboard.
  • Gain real-time, file-level visibility into unauthorized changes and potential risks.
  • Leverage a single lightweight Qualys Cloud Agent and central interface to manage monitoring and compliance.

A Qualys File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) subscription includes both Qualys FIM and the Qualys Core app.

The following are the key features of Qualys FIM for ServiceNow:

  • Automated data import from FIM, using predefined criteria. This can be done on demand or through a scheduled process.

FIM incidents and related events can be configured from Qualys Core version 1.2.0 and later

  • Automated ticket creation from the FIM incident table, as per the configured triggering rule. Tickets are assigned to the appropriate owners and can be closed upon remediation.

  • Custom SLA can be defined for open FIM incidents based on Qualys real-time threat indicators (RTIs) with TruRisk.
