What's New in CyberSecurity Asset Management

CSAM Release 3.5.1.0

This release includes the following update:

The External Attack Surface Management Summary report is redesigned to improve readability and added additional data points for increased visibility into potential risks.

CSAM Release 3.5.0.0

This release includes the following key new features and updates:

  • Database tab:
    You can now gain detailed visibility into your database instances and servers through a new Database tab under Inventory.
  • Update Basic Business Information:
    Basic business information for assets can now be easily edited directly from the Asset Details page.
  • Trigger Criteria for Alerts:
    Introduced advanced trigger criteria options for alerts, giving you precise control over when notifications are generated.
  • EASM Profile History and Domain Visibility:
    You can now track, view, and revert to previous versions of EASM profiles. EASM domains now includes registrant country and expiration date for both resolved and unresolved domains.
  • Bulk Removal of Static Tags:
    You can now remove static tags from up to 10,000 assets in a single operation.

CSAM Release 3.4.0.0

This release includes the following key new features and updates:

  • EASM Configuration Profile Enhancements:
    You can now import inclusion and exclusion seed values in bulk using CSV files when configuring EASM profiles.
  • EASM Lightweight Scan IP Address Management:
    This new feature allows you to initiate EASM lightweight scans on VM-activated public IP addresses that have never been VMDR scanned.
  • Visibility into Business Entities and Associated Assets:
    A new Business Entities tab under Inventory provides a comprehensive view of business entities and their associated asset details.
  • Bulk Asset Activation by Rule:
    You can now activate assets in bulk by creating QQL-based or tag-based rules.
  • Improved Visibility into Out-of-Scope Tags:
    To reduce tag duplication and improve collaboration, sub-users can now view and use tags created by other users, even if those tags are outside their direct scope.

CSAM Release 3.3.2.0

This release includes the following key new features and updates:

  • Insights into Software Component Details:
    A new Components tab is added under Inventory > Software to display detailed information on software components discovered through Software Composition Analysis (SwCA) scans. 
  • Enhanced Domain Resolution Accuracy:
    CSAM now uses Cloudflare and Quad9 as additional DNS sources (along with existing ones) to improve the accuracy and robustness of DNS resolution.
